A community is made up of many, many parts, but two of the most visible are the fire and police departments. Each one fulfills an important role in keeping Hot Springs Village running smoothly, even though you might not always notice. Tomorrow, September 13, you can learn more about how the police department functions and who keeps it functioning with two events, Coffee with the Chief and the Police Training Center's open house. If your calendar is free on September 16 and 17, consider attending two very different musical acts hosted by Woodlands Auditorium! On Friday, September 16, come to the venue to enjoy the 1787 opera "Don Giovanni" by the incomparable Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The following day, the auditorium will switch gears to host the Crystal Chimes Chorus as they sing their dreams with the ringing chords of a cappella barbershop harmony. Never let it be said that Woodlands Auditorium lacks variety!
