Cardboard Collection Program Proves Successful

Submitted by on

Hot Springs Village POA has been trying to reduce costs by implementing a cardboard recycling project. By selling our collected cardboard to local buyers, we have raised funds that we are using to lower prices for our landfill fees and create other revenue sources. As Members of the POA, we invite you to participate in this new program.

The collection facility, located at 218 Minorca Rd., is open to all members Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. They accept corrugated cardboard, cardboard used in food boxes, and other packaging materials. Please refrain from dropping off egg cartons, waxy cardboard, and honeycomb cardboard used in certain packing situations. It is imperative that you flatten your cardboard before you put it into the collection bin. This ensures that we can fit as much cardboard as possible.

Thanks for making this program such a success!
