It's almost time for the return of an annual tradition: the Crawfish and Shrimp Boil! Plus, this year you will be able to feast on these tasty critters while listening to live music thanks to the simultaneous start of the 2018 Rock Porch Series! It's all happening on April 7th right here in Hot Springs Village!
On Saturday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m., Hot Springs Village Recreation invites you to Balboa Pavilion (476 Ponce de Leon Drive) to enjoy a delicious meal catered by Rendi's Mud Bugs and sponsored by Monita Collins of Century 21!
Advance tickets go on sale TODAY and will remain on sale until March 29th or until sold out. Choose from crawfish or shrimp sold by the pound. Each pound includes potatoes, corn, and unlimited tea or lemonade to help wash down all that great food! Crawfish is $12/pound + tax and shrimp is $15/pound + tax. If you'd like to attend, you can purchase your tickets online here.
Make sure you purchase your meal ahead of time! Not only could the event sell out, but prices at the door are also slightly raised if food is still available ($14/pound + tax for crawfish and $17.50 per pound + tax for shrimp). The food will be served until 7:15 p.m., so don't be late!
As previously mentioned, this event will also mark the start of a new year of fantastic music with the Rock Porch series! On April 7th, Roses and Revolvers will be starting the series off in style with their acoustic mix of blues, bluegrass, rock, country, and pop. The duo will be performing from 7-9 p.m.
