A used book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Coronado Center Library (FOCCL) will be held on Saturday, October 23 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Woodlands Auditorium, Porte Cochere and Lobby of the Ponce de Leon Center. The Center is located at 1101 DeSota Blvd. Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909.
The book sale, held annually, to help support the library will include various types of books and media. Pricing will be competitive and will truly be a value to the shopper. A shopper with an eye for a deal will be best to wait until later in the afternoon when you can purchase a bag/books for a flat rate. There is no fee to attend this event and if you have any questions you can contact the library at 501-922-3555.
The Friends of the Coronado Center Library (FOCCL) was started in 2009 by property owners who have a special love of books and the library. The organization is a not for profit organization that helps support the library by helping to purchase materials, create programs for the community and all around promote the library within the community.
The FOCCL is also in need of volunteers to help at this event. On the day of the book sale they are in need of people to help unload and unpack boxes for the sale. This will start at 6 a.m. and if you have any interest in helping you should call Diane Upchurch at 501-915-9222.
