Looking for some great local events to enjoy in April? There's never a shortage of things to do around Hot Springs Village! With activities as diverse as movies, snakes, tennis, and ice cream, HSV truly believes that variety is the spice of life!
To begin with, don't forget that "Movies at the Library" is an ongoing opportunity to see FREE movies at the Coronado Center Library. In fact, there will be a showing today, April 12, at 2 p.m. when guests will enjoy "The Fate of the Furious"! If you can't make it today, then don't worry! The next movie is "Before I Fall", happening on April 24. For more information, contact the Library at 501-922-3555 or check out the Friends of the Coronado Center Library Facebook page.
Next on the calendar is something you don't see every day: live snakes! "Snakes of Arkansas" is being held at the Coronado Community Center on Tuesday, April 17, from 2-3 p.m. You will be able to see and learn about several snake species that are native to our beautiful state. You can check out the flyer for the event here.
Ok, so maybe snakes aren't your thing. How about sports? The Coronado Tennis Center is hosting its Open House on April 22 from 1-5 p.m. to help get more people involved in this fun activity! Feel free to stop by and learn about upcoming tennis opportunities, play some tennis yourself, or even just watch! The open house has a schedule of events for kids and adults, which you can view by clicking here.
After all of that tennis, who wouldn't want a nice treat? On Sunday, April 29, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hot Springs Village is holding its annual Spring Concert and Ice Cream Social at Woodlands Auditorium! The social starts at 2 p.m. and the concert starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are general admission and priced at $12 each. Grab yours online by clicking here.
