In the second edition of their "Best of the Best" awards, ideal-LIVING Magazine has once again selected Hot Springs Village as one of the finest planned communities in the United States! The awards are designed to help people discover the communities that best represent their ideal lifestyle and amenities. With 24 separate categories, any interested person can easily find places that are perfect for them!

Hot Springs Village was recognized as one of the top communities in two different categories: Best Lake Views and Best Tennis/Pickleball (which the magazine points out is the fastest growing sport among those over 50 years old). According to the description, HSV was chosen for recognition due to its 12 beautiful lakes situated on 26,000 acres of the Ouachita Mountains. The magazine was also impressed by the ​the Coronado Tennis Center, which boasts 13 courts, a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional, a lounge, and a pavilion. In addition, the Village has over 300 pickleball members playing on 8 lighted courts.
