If you are anything like me, you could probably benefit from eating a bit healthier. While this seems like a simple goal, it can be surprisingly difficult; after all, food that's good for you doesn't always coincide with food that tastes good! With that in mind, make it your New Year's resolution to learn about improving your health by attending the Oaklawn Center on Aging's series of nutrition classes starting January 23!
The set of four classes aims to teach participants about foods that are loaded with important vitamins and minerals, as well as how to prepare them in order to maximize their nutritional value.
Each of the classes in the series will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Coronado Community Center on consecutive Mondays, starting January 23, continuing January 30 and February 6, and ending February 13. The cost is $15 per person. Learn more by calling the Center at 501-922-5050.
Whether you attend the classes or not, good luck to everyone on their resolutions!
