At its regular July meeting, the Hot Springs Village Property Owners Board approved the creation of the Ad Hoc Community History Committee! This committee will be tasked with researching and updating the history of the Village. If you have a background in researching, interviewing, organizing, and/or compiling information and have an interest in the community's history, apply for a spot! Once formed, the committee will compile a chronology of the development, growth, successes, and notable accomplishments of Hot Springs Village. Applications can be found here and must be turned in to the COO's office at the Administration Building by Friday, September 1, 2017.
The latest digest also reminded everyone of the upcoming "Hot Springs Village's Gardening Club Showcase". The program will be led by a master gardener and features an overview of past and present projects of the Village Pines Garden Club and the Men's Village Garden Club. The showcase will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Woodlands Auditorium. Refreshments will be served beforehand starting at 6 p.m.
Finally (and maybe most importantly), the Granada Grill has some incredible specials available on Sundays and Wednesdays. Their Sunday Brunch runs from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m and includes breakfast, lunch entrees, sides, and assorted desserts for $16 per person ($8.95 for children under 12; no charge for children under 4). The Grill also has a Wednesday Night Buffet beginning at 5 p.m. and featuring fried chicken and chef's choice entree, salad, sides, and desserts, all for just $12.50 per person!
