Everyone knows that firefighters across the country do incredible work to help keep us all safe, but chances are good that you've never seen them in action. Luckily, you have a great opportunity to change that coming up this weekend! On Saturday, October 14, head over to the Hot Springs Village Fire Department for their open house! This event will have food, demonstrations, and fun activities for children.
This FREE event will feature plenty of engaging attractions for people of all ages! From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., watch the Village firefighters in action as they demonstrate repelling, extinguishing a propane gas fire, and fighting a structure fire in the training tower. In addition to the fun, you can also have your child's fingerprints taken for free by the Hot Springs Village Police Department for future identification purposes.
Speaking of children, they will be able to enjoy using a fire hose and touring a fire truck, plus take home a free goody bag!
As if you needed another reason to go, all guests will receive a free lunch of hot dogs and chips just for attending this event!
The Hot Springs Village Fire Department is located at 110 Cortez Road. Check out the flyer for this event here.
