A new opportunity through the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League has a position that may be right up your alley. They require a volunteer to help with the AWL’s Lily Alert system. This system is in place to help lost, and missing pets find their way back to their owners.

How Lily Alert Works:

When an owner reports a missing animal, a Lily Alert volunteer creates and sends an email to the members who have signed up to receive the alerts. This alert will contain all the pertinent information, such as the pet's last known location, name, contact information, distinguishing features or collars, and, if possible, a photo. Contacting Liliy Alert can be done by emailing LilyAlert@HSVAWL.org. It is also essential to contact HSV Animal Control at 501-922-6547 when a loved pet strays away from home.

The AWL is looking for the right volunteer for this job. To help in this role, you must have a phone and computer. Volunteers can work from home. Your availability must be open so that the pets can have the quickest chance to be returned home. Volunteers who feel they can help in these situations should contact Beverly Fitzpatrick through the AWL.
