Sometimes, you just feel like dancing! This weekend, there are two different chances to move your feet at the Coronado Community Center: the Beboppers Dance and the Country Dancers!
On Friday, December 9, the Beboppers Dance will feature hours of the greatest hits from the '50s and '60s, including two-steppers, sizzling Cajun tunes, and much more! A cash bar will be available on-site, but guests are encouraged to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks if desired. The dance runs from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and has a $3 cover charge at the door.
Saturday brings another chance at scratching your dance itch with the Country Dancers Christmas Party! Live music will be provided by the Sugar Creek Band, who promise to play a great mix of country, swing, cha-cha, and Cajun stylings. While the dance music starts at 7, the cash bar will be open for business at 6:30. Those who attend should bring food to share, while the hosts will provide dessert. Admission is $10.00 per person or free for members who have paid their 2017 club dues.
