Everyone knows that Woodlands Auditorium features a never-ending stream of productions suitable for every taste, and September is no different. This month, attendees can enjoy three very different types of entertainment: a tribute to the incredible Carole King, a timeless operetta, and a historical retelling of the United States' attack on Japan in WW2. As the temperatures start to fall, stay cozy and enjoy an amazing story inside the Village's premier entertainment venue!

The first event coming up at Woodlands is "Tapestry: The Carole King Song Book" on September 6-8. Singer Suzanne Davis will transport you back to the '70s and '80s with the incomparable sounds of this amazing artist. ​Each performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and general admission tickets are just $30. Next up on the Woodlands schedule, guests can enjoy a more classical pleasure with the light and funny operetta, The Merry Widow! On Friday, September 15 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., the Merry Muses will present three acts of silly fun and ear-catching tunes. Originally composed by Franz Lehár, this production tells the story of a rich window's dealings in romance and has remained popular since its debut in Vienna in 1905. If history is more your thing, then this final event is the one you've been waiting for! As part of the Ouachita Speaker Series, guests to the Woodlands Auditorium can listen to "Target Tokyo", an epic account of the United States' strike on Japan following the attack on Pearl Harbor. At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, you can learn all about the Doolittle Raid straight from author James M. Scott. Tickets are only $12, so grab yours today!
