Mother's Day is nearly here, which means that now is the perfect time to demonstrate your love for mom! It's always good to have options, and luckily the Rotary Club and the Coronado Center Library both have their own unique events planned for the holiday. There's no one in our lives that we owe more to than her, so give a little back by taking mom to a great Mother's Day activity in Hot Springs Village!
On Mother's Day (Sunday, May 13), the Rotary Club of Hot Springs Village will be hosting their 4th Annual Champagne and Roses Mother's Day Celebration at the Coronado Community Center! Come at 12:30 p.m. to treat mom to elegant music, a gourmet meal prepared by Chef Johnna Westerman, and a relaxing beverage. Plus, each mom will receive a rose and a professional photo! Tickets are $28 each and seating is limited, so make sure you claim your tickets ASAP by clicking here.
Of course, who says you have to have fun on just the actual day? The Coronado Center Library is celebrating Mother's Day all week long by hosting four great movies for all the moms out there! First, on Monday, May 7, you can see the 1983 comedic drama "Terms of Endearment"; next, on Wednesday, May 9, you and mom can enjoy "Because I Said So" from 2007; the movies keep rolling on Thursday, May 10 with 2009's "The Blind Side"; finally, wrap up the week of film with 2016's aptly-titled "Mother's Day" on Friday, May 11. Each movie starts at 2 p.m. in the Coronado Center ballroom and admission is FREE!
These are just a couple of the many fantastic ways that you can show mom you care! Remember, you don't need a special event to let mom know you love her!
