A unique musical experience is coming to Hot Springs Village on April 4th when the singer/songwriter duo Still on the Hill will perform at the Coronado Community Center! These incredible artists from Northwestern Arkansas have been called the “Ambassadors of the Ozarks” for their work to preserve the culture of the area in the form of songs, stories, photos, and even the instruments themselves! The pair, consisting of Kelly and Donna Mulhollan, are also avid birders and naturalists who have been teaching Ornithology at Halberg Ecology Camp for over 17 years, making them perfect guests for HSV Audubon.
Their show, Songs of the Ozarks, starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 and costs just $10 to attend. The performance will feature a collection of songs about the Ozarks being played on unique instruments from the region. Plus, each one is accompanied by photos which complement the lyrics. The group is even going to throw in some "bird songs" just for our birders! A cash bar will be available at the event and you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
