Join the Hot Springs Village POA at Grove Park this Friday, December 4th, for the Tree Lighting as well as a canned food drive for the community. This event will feature cocoa, coffee and cookies starting at 5:30 p.m.. Also at that time the Village Chorale, directed by Dr. Tom Bolton, will be offering caroling to enjoy.
The Village Chorale “offers singers who love music an opportunity to sing and improve their vocal skills in an encouraging and friendly environment.” The Chorale has members from a varied background and musical talents. In the Fall the Chorale voted in their new Board of Directors and are pleased to welcome co-chairs Janelle Esch and Rob Kasten, Secretary Kay Klemsz, Treasurer John Keller and members at large Pamela Womack and Dale Brubaker to their positions. At 6:00 p.m. the tree in Grove Park, located at 1105 DeSoto Blvd. here in Hot Springs Village, will be lighted for all to enjoy. The canned food drive is an ongoing event that will take place at the Ponce de Leon Center through January 4th. Everyone is encouraged to bring a canned food donation to the tree lighting event to start off this drive.
