What better way to spend the New Year than a healthy trail walk through the Village? See the historical sights and sounds of the crisp winter season. Find interesting facts and special points throughout the trails from Hot Springs Village Parks and Recreation Department and Trails Committee. This year's walk is the 4th annual New Year's 1.5-mile trek starting on Balboa Beach Trail Head. The walk will commence at noon on Saturday, January 6th. No registration is required, but a waiver must be signed before the walk begins. Refreshments of coffee and cocoa will be provided as well.
After ringing in the New Year now is as good as time as ever to stop and think about your clutter and how to manage it. When you have time on your hands you can make a dent in your to-do list. By the end you should have a clear and spacious space. Getting started is the hardest part sometimes so you need to have a plan and hopefully a crew to help you. By making a dent early and being able to see the fruits of your labor realized can help you find the motivation to continue throughout the year.
