"Yappy Hour" To Be Held At Desoto Dog Park

dog noseCalling all dog owners here in the beautiful Hot Springs Village! Take a moment to visit with other dog owners in an event sponsored partly by the Hot Springs Village POA Parks and Recreation as well as others. “Yappy Hour” will be held at the Desoto Dog Park located 209 Desoto Park Lane here in Hot Springs VIllage. Visitors from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. on April 29th will be able to enjoy many perks and spoiling activities for both the pooches and the owners. Music, drinks along with raffles and the chance to win prizes will be offered up for the visitors. There will be a charge for dog owners, $6 for dog + one owner and $10 for a dog family which can include two related dog owners and their dogs, or one dog owner and two dogs.

The votes are in! Congratulations to Chris Jones, Robert McLeod, Gary Belair, Pam Avila and JoAnne Corry who were elected to the Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association Board of Directors. 35.5% of the total ballots that were sent out were returned and counted successfully.  

Chris Jones and Robert McLeod were elected to 3-year terms. Gary Belair was elected to a 2-year term. Pam Avila and JoAnne Corry were elected to 1-year terms. The new board members will be seated on April 21, 2021 after the regular Board Meeting during a special session. Congratulations again to the new Board Members!

 

Village Board Election Set to End on March 31st

vote spelled out in scabble tilesIt’s Board Election time here in Hot Springs Village so be sure to make sure that you are locating your packet that was sent to you in the mail and follow the instructions located therein. If you did NOT receive your voter packet then please contact The Inspectors of Election at (888) 211-5332 or email the company at info@tieivote.com. The POA contracted with The Inspectors of Election (TIE), a third-party election service, to conduct the election this year. You can vote either online or by traditional paper ballot. Your packet will contain a paper ballot, voting instructions, as well as a username and password for online voting.
