caution coneHot Springs Village residents can participate in an event that will help keep the Village free of litter. Keep Hot Springs Village Beautiful is a group that works in conjunction with Keep Arkansas Beautiful to gather volunteers to help make the village free of trash and debris. This Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., volunteers, dressed in bright yellow safety vests, will be present on three busy roads. This will include the entirety of DeSoto, Ponce from DeSoto to Highway 5, as well as Balearic from Ponce to Minorca. Drivers should be aware that these volunteers will be in the area and should proceed with caution.

girl cleaning out her closetAfter ringing in the New Year now is as good as time as ever to stop and think about your clutter and how to manage it. When you have time on your hands you can make a dent in your to-do list. By the end you should have a clear and spacious space. Getting started is the hardest part sometimes so you need to have a plan and hopefully a crew to help you. By making a dent early and being able to see the fruits of your labor realized can help you find the motivation to continue throughout the year.
