Have you ever thought about what it would be like to paddle a boat made of cardboard and duct tape around Lake Balboa? Well, now is your chance!! On July 27th, at the Lake Balboa-Kayak Launch, the Hot Springs Village POA Parks and Recreation Department and the HSV Paddlers Club will host a Carboard Boat Derby (Challenge). Boat building will occur from 9 a.m. to approximately 10:40 a.m. with the timed boat challenges starting at 11 a.m.
Are you looking to start thinking about improving your health by working out or participating in organized fitness classes? Living here in Hot Springs Village you have access to a great resource in the Coronado Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is a great place to exercise with a variety of weight and cardio equipment along with a walking track. The Center is also a natatorium with an indoor pool, steam room, and a whirlpool. They also offer personal training and massage therapy. Fitness classes are included in membership and you can take a variety of classes to help get in shape. 
Term limits are ending on many of the POA Committee's positions, leading to many vacancies. Applications are now being accepted to fill these service opportunities. These committees are currently looking for members to serve.
